Bro. Troy Adkins was tragically killed in a car accident early this morning, Wednesday, October 11th 2009. We are truck drivers that do long haul trucking. We are away from home 4 to 5 weeks and in for one. Here lately, the last few months, I have felt the need to be home and be in church. I am missing being in church and the peace that serving the Lord used to bring me. Since I left His side along time ago, things have done nothing but go down hill. I wish to be home so I can go and find my way back to Him. I am so grateful for FAC's webcast as it helps me to keep some contact with the word of God. I feel so incomplete and empty and I know why and I want to correct it. Please pray for us that the Lord will provide a way for us to be home to live a normal life and still be able to pay our bills. I am even considering traveling from Fulton, MS to Tyronza, AR just to be in church attendance. I miss my church, my family and a real life and I want them back. It is getting harder out their in this sin-filled world without the Lord. I am not happy any longer and the Lord is the only one that can fill that emptiness. I am a backslider and I miss home...the Lord. Help me by praying to find Him again.
